Hello you!

Hi There!

The card I have to share today was inspired by the latest class from Online Card Classes, Stretch Your Dies. An easy yet effective technique, using the negative space of the dies, leaving the positive diecuts to use on another card.

The dies I have used are from Little B's set Bouquet. I love these dies, they are versatile and can be paired to cut in a different manner.

The sentiment strip is from My Favorite Things, Blueprints 21 and the 'hello' diecut, cut from a coloured foam sheet, is from Wplus9,  Hand Lettered Hello

I used Liquid Pearls in Onyx Pearl for embellishing. Rather than squirting the paint directly on the card front, I dotted pearls onto a craft sheet and left them to dry, then lifted and glued them on with Multi Medium Matte. The diecut piece has been mounted with foam tape and placed onto the card base, giving dimension to the card and the same has been done with the sentiment strip.

Scrambled!

Hello!

Today I am sharing a card that combines stamps from Lil' Inker Designs "Unscramble This" and Lawn Fawn "Critters From the Past". I find it difficult these days to not purchase a stamp set alone if it has a matching die set. They just help to give your design that something extra!

Tell me I am not the only one!

It is not obvious in the picture below, but the reveal is embossed in Ranger Liquid Platinum Embossing Powder. I love the fun of an interactive card and this great die which creates the door, fits the bill perfectly.

I punched out a flower shape and used it to mask the clouds to create the sky using Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. The copic markers used to colour the trees were YR95, YR97 and YR99, E33 and E35. The Pterodactyl was coloured with C2, C4 and C6.
